Senior Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure & Utilities
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of complex infrastructure projects across the UK, working within a national team of project, commercial and programme management professionals.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and deliver projects from concept to completion, ensuring structure, clarity and confidence in scope, cost, schedule, risk, change and quality.
- Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams and WSP colleagues to support project strategy, commercial and contract requirements.
- Lead own projects or key workstreams, support larger programmes and mentor junior team members.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience delivering infrastructure, utilities, civil engineering or construction projects in a project management role.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and client relationship skills.
- Good commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, scope, risk, change and project performance.
- Experience with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 ECC) or understanding of their application.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, supporting collaboration, wellbeing, inclusion and high-quality delivery.
- Recognised project management qualification or willingness to work towards one, such as APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent.
- Commitment to health, safety, quality, sustainability and continuous improvement.
