As a Digital Portfolio Manager, you will help to ensure our technology projects deliver real value and align with our digital strategy. The evolution of the digital offering and the banking app are a key strategic focus for BUK with an exciting transformation agenda planned for 2026 and the next three years.
This role includes working closely with business and technology lab teams to ensure their roadmaps deliver the strategic objectives (OKRs), including customer and financial benefits, and all within agreed costs. You will be reporting to senior leadership, helping with business cases, managing stakeholders, overseeing the funding process, tracking progress, and ensuring projects align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
This role can be based in London (1CP), or Knutsford.
Qualifications
- Have experience in managing a portfolio of technology change delivery work or a transformation programme
- Experience in financial management such as forecasting, budgeting, tracking costs and benefits
- Experience in bidding for funding and developing business cases
- Analytical background and experience in reporting, with strong Excel skills
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders
- Change delivery frameworks – understand Agile Lab models, roadmaps, and productivity measures
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of using JIRA and Confluence
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, Consumer Duty, and data compliance requirements)
