Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Design the technical infrastructure to support the entire solution.
  • Lead build, commissioning and acceptance of the technical solution.
  • Deliver a coherent and technically integrated solution in line with requirements.
  • Run, support and attend all appropriate workshops and meetings.
  • Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure delivery of all items in line with the project schedule.
  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of the infrastructure, including oversight of appropriate sub-contractors.
  • Update and manage the BOM with approved changes and updated technical specifications in line with the infrastructure design.
  • Engage in stakeholder management as it pertains to the infrastructure design.
  • Be accountable for the infrastructure design, configuration and transfer of an integrated solution, and raise any design issues to the SDA immediately.
  • Ensure accuracy, coherence and completeness of the technology solution requirements.
  • Ensure the coherence and completeness of the design of the project infrastructure solution, including efficient and effective integration with stakeholders and supplier capabilities.
  • Integrate with the Engineering pillar to ensure all work aligns with Quality and Engineering standards.
  • Adhere to the Engineering Management Plan, meet the solution requirements of the project, and report progress through engineering metrics.
  • Support the development of business processes associated with the operation of delivered infrastructure.
  • Deliver the technical solution through design, acceptance testing and introduction into live service operation.
  • Provide support to the overall development of the solution.

Qualifications

  • Campus networking experience — design, build and configuration (typical vendors: Dell, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Arista).
  • Detailed knowledge of IP networking, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls.
