Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Fitness Professional to support the delivery of a high-quality fitness service. Reporting to the Centre Fitness Manager, you will help ensure the gym operates smoothly while supporting customers to achieve their health and fitness goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of the gym
- Supervise gym users to maintain a safe environment
- Deliver 1-2-1 gym appointments and lead gym floor classes
- Create tailored training plans, including fitness assessments and lifestyle advice
- Complete cleaning and maintenance schedules, reporting faults promptly
- Provide a professional, friendly, and high-quality customer experience at all times
- Contribute to improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities across the borough by promoting active lifestyles
Qualifications
- A minimum Level 2 Fitness Qualification and a CIMSPA/REPs Level 3 qualification
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment
- A proven ability to deliver excellent customer care
- Experience in designing and delivering fitness programmes for clients/members
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate others
- A genuine passion for health, wellbeing, and supporting diverse communities
