EHC Case Coordinator – Fully Remote
£275 per day (Umbrella)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced EHC Case Coordinator on a fully remote contract.
About the role
You will be responsible for managing Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes, ensuring plans are completed to a high standard and in line with statutory requirements. You will work closely with families, schools, settings, and professionals to ensure children and young people receive the right support.
Key responsibilities
- Drafting new EHCPs to a high standard and within statutory timescales
- Amending EHCPs, including phase transfers and key stage changes
- Processing annual reviews and updating, amending, or ceasing plans where appropriate
- Supporting EHC Needs Assessments and holding family conversations
- Ensuring parent, child, and young person views are reflected within plans
- Incorporating professional advice, preparation for adulthood, SMART outcomes, and appropriate provision
- Consulting with educational settings in line with parental preference and individual needs
- Attending annual reviews, SEND meetings, and panels as required
- Responding to queries from families and settings
- Maintaining accurate records and updating local authority systems
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an EHC/EHCP Case Coordinator, SEND Case Officer, or similar role
- Strong experience drafting and amending EHCPs
- Excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Experience working within statutory SEND timelines
- Strong communication and case management skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
