Overview

This East Midlands-based Software House is looking for a solid Software Tester to join their testing team. Excellent opportunity for cross‑training into automation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standard of testing with best practices and testing procedures.
• Work closely with fellow test colleagues and other areas of the development team.
• Perform functional and non‑functional testing, exploratory testing and use manual testing tools within the SDLC.
• Assist with growing testing requirements as the development team expands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manual software testing tools, knowledge of SDLC and SQL skills.
• Understanding of the difference between functional and non‑functional testing.
• Experience with exploratory testing.
• ISTQB, BCS or ISEB qualification desirable but not required.

Benefits

Up to £35,000 per annum plus benefits and the option for remote home working. Two days in the office.

Additional Information

Role is based near Nottingham, easily commutable from surrounding East Midlands and West Midlands area. Must be able to attend office twice a week.
