We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s team and help improve the way they manufacture their products. In this role, you’ll focus on developing efficient manufacturing processes, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvements across production. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you’ll help ensure our operations meet the highest standards for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
- Support the introduction of new products by ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and documentation are production‑ready
- Evaluate production methods and identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce waste, and optimise performance
- Assist with factory layout planning, equipment selection, and process implementation to support manufacturing goals
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in PFMEA and other risk assessments to establish effective process controls and quality standards
- Support the installation, validation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment
- Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to deliver successful manufacturing solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, assembly, or production systems is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PFMEA, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvement
- Experience using CAD software (such as Creo or similar) is beneficial
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
- Well‑organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
