• Work within the Cambridge team• Involve RF measurements of test QUBITs fabricated in Belgium• Extensive access to a dilution refrigerator with all measurement equipment for qubit testing and operation• Opportunity to travel for short trips to Japan to work with the quantum team
Requirements
- PhD in physics, engineering or a related discipline
- Prior postdoctoral or industry experience is valuable, but not essential
- Strong background in quantum dot quantum control
- Hands-on experience in calibration, benchmarking, or coherent control of qubits is desirable
- Proven expertise in experimental quantum dot physics for quantum computing
- Strong proficiency in programming and data analysis, experience of Python is desirable
- Strong collaborative skills
- A track record of scientific communication through publications, talks and conferences would be advantageous.
