Overview
If you’ve handled property claims over £100k, you know the precision and coordination required. This role supports a team of major loss adjusters by helping push claims forward, keeping stakeholders informed, and handling elements of settlement directly with clients and insurers. You might come from a desktop background or be a field adjuster looking to step back from the road. If you’ve worked on large domestic or commercial losses and can keep things moving without compromising standards, this will suit you.
You will liaise with brokers and policyholders, chase reports, check figures, and question estimates — all essential activities to land a complex claim effectively.
Responsibilities
- Support a team of major loss adjusters by progressing claims and maintaining clear communication among clients, brokers, and insurers.
- Liaise with brokers and policyholders to gather information and manage expectations.
- Chase reports, verify figures, and review estimates to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Assist with elements of settlement directly with clients and insurers as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills
- Cert CII or Cert CILA is ideal, but progression support will be provided if you are working towards it.
- Strong judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized under pressure.
- Ability to maintain momentum on complex claims while upholding high standards.
