EMBS Engineering Ltd, in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis in Nottingham.

• Working hours: 6 am-2 pm Monday-Thursday, 6 am-1 pm Friday (37.5-hour week); alternatively 2 pm-10 pm Monday-Thursday, 1 am-8 am Friday

Your responsibilities include

• Setting, operating, and editing CNC machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls
• Machining small to medium-sized, complex components from materials such as plastic
• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Managing multiple setups per day to produce components for various precision engineering sectors

Successful applicants must have

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Confidence working with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
• Experience setting, operating, and editing multi-axis CNC machines
• Experience machining complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas, etc.
• Experience machining plastics is desirable, or having previously machined metals
• Experience meeting tight tolerances
