Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder to join our well-established client based in Smethwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing business. The ideal candidate will have solid MIG welding experience, working with mild steel components.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components to precise specifications.
- Weld end plates and pin stools.
- Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
- Work with mild steel thicknesses ranging from 5mm to 25mm.
- Ensure all welding meets quality and industry standards.
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday, 06:30 am – 4:15 pm (Fridays off) – 37.5 hours per week. Plenty of overtime available.
Pay Rate
£14.50 per hour.
Permanent position offered after a successful trial period.
