Job Description:

UWE Bristol is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Academic Quality and Partnerships Enhancement team to support the work of Standards and Accreditation.

  • Curriculum: supporting the design, development, approval and continuous improvement of the University’s academic programmes, including coordinating support for cross-university curriculum enhancement projects and initiatives and related evaluation activities
  • Standards and Accreditation: supporting oversight of regulatory compliance in relation to quality and standards and engagement with professional, statutory and regulatory bodies
  • Collaborative Provision: supporting the development, oversight and enhancement of the University’s UK and international academic partnerships and associated collaborative provision, including apprenticeships

About the Role

This role supports Standards and Accreditation, providing administrative and regulatory expertise.

Responsibilities and Experience Required

We are looking for someone with broad-based administrative experience, the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders, and experience of working in line with complex regulatory frameworks such as those in higher education. You will have good organisational, interpersonal, communication and IT skills, and experience of organising events and taking formal and informal minutes of meetings.

As a Quality Officer you will balance a range of responsibilities in a flexible, autonomous and proactive manner, using your initiative and working with a variety of stakeholders across the University and our academic partners. A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, you will thrive in a demanding yet rewarding environment.

This post is based at our Frenchay campus in Bristol.
