Training & Quality Assurance Manager – Health Records
An exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the management team in the busy Health Records Department at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The candidate will assist with the management of the Health Records Services and provide continual support and training to staff to maintain an effective service to all users.
The role is based in the Health Records Department at Stepping Hill Hospital, with flexibility to work in all sections of the Department after training.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of the Health Records Services and provide support and training to staff to maintain an effective service.
- Collaborate with the Evolve System Administrator/Data Quality Manager and Health Records Managers in developing Health Records systems and procedures to meet changing demands.
- Work independently to support the Health Records Team and present a quality service to all users.
- Manage staff appraisals and ensure compliance with Trust and departmental policies and procedures.
- Deliver vital information to staff by holding regular departmental meetings, support meetings, appraisals, and one‑to‑one meetings.
- Provide assurance through data quality audits and other related tasks.
Qualifications
- People and organisational skills, with experience in staff management being advantageous.
- Ability to work proactively, on own initiative, and to motivate a team.
- Basic training skills; training on in‑house information systems will be provided.
