Job Description
This Local Area Coordinator role is based in the community. Driving is not required, but you must be able to travel within the area. Candidates with a UK driving licence and a car are preferred.
Local Area Coordination is a specific approach to helping people build a positive vision for their lives, a plan to achieve that vision, and to walk alongside them while they take positive action themselves. For more information, visit www.lacnetwork.org.
About the Role
As a Local Area Coordinator, you’ll be rooted in the area working with local people, families and the community. You will become a familiar presence and a trusted point of contact for local people. There will be occasional work outside of normal office hours, during evenings and weekends.
