Hours: Full-Time | 40 Hours | Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality CT and General Radiography examinations, ensuring exceptional patient care and image quality.
• Operate in accordance with IR(ME)R 2017, IRR17, and local imaging protocols.
• Administer intravenous contrast agents and medications in line with PGDs and departmental procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Consultant Radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
• Support a wide range of diagnostic imaging services, with opportunities to develop specialist skills.
• Contribute to quality assurance programmes, equipment checks, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior radiographers and students as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain accurate imaging records and utilise RIS/PACS and other imaging systems effectively.
• Participate in audits, governance activities, and ongoing quality improvement projects.
• Maintain professional registration and CPD, keeping up to date with advancements in imaging practice.

Requirements

• HCPC registered
• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• 3+ years post‑graduation UK experience in CT
• Rotation between CT, General X‑ray and theatres is essential.
• Cardiac CT and CT Colonography experience desired but not essential.
• Paediatrics experience desired but not essential.
