We’re looking for a Technical Advisor – Members Advisory to join our team in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary of £82,000 per annum and a hybrid working pattern, with remote working options available.
What you will be doing
- Providing practical, professional advice and guidance to ICAEW members on a broad range of accounting, auditing, company law, ethics and anti-money laundering matters.
- Diagnosing complex member enquiries and delivering clear, pragmatic solutions across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, webchat and emerging AI-enabled platforms.
- Maintaining accurate records of member interactions and enquiries within the member database.
- Developing and maintaining up-to-date technical expertise across accounting, auditing, ethics, AML and regulatory developments.
- Building strong relationships with internal specialists and stakeholders to share knowledge and continuously improve Technical and Advisory Services.
- Supporting member engagement through technical content creation, multimedia resources, presentations and attendance at member events and outreach activities.
What you will need
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Significant practical experience in accounting, auditing and company law.
- Experience of providing technical guidance or advisory support to professionals.
- Experience within a technical department or specialist advisory function is desirable.
- Good knowledge and understanding of ICAEW guidance, standards and professional requirements.
