Remote AI Engineer

Salary: £31,500 – 59,500 per year

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
• Hands‑on experience with NLP, including LLMs, transformers, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Deep understanding of neural networks, reinforcement learning, and generative models.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data engineering practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
• 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions from data ingestion to production.
• Build and optimise ML/DL models for NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.
• Implement and maintain MLOps pipelines, including CI/CD for ML, for scalable deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to define AI‑driven solutions.
• Research and integrate Generative AI, including LLMs, diffusion models, and transformers, into real‑world applications.
• Drive data strategy, including data collection, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Optimise models for performance, scalability, and cost‑effectiveness in cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in AI development.
