Senior IBA Technician

The Senior IBA / Credit Controller required by expanding Lloyd’s Insurance broker, This is an excellent opportunity for an experience IBA Technician

Responsibilities will include the effective management of insurer and client accounts, ensuring the timely collection, allocation, and settlement of funds in accordance with Lloyd’s and FCA regulatory requirements. The role is integral to cash flow management, aged debt reduction, and the maintenance of robust financial controls.

• Ability to oversee and mentor outsourced teams
• Commitment to process improvement, accuracy, and regulatory compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Management of day‑to‑day IBA activities, including cash allocation, reconciliations, bordereaux, and settlements
• Monitoring and resolution of unallocated cash and aged balances
• Preparation and review of IBA reconciliations in line with CASS 5 requirements
• Accurate maintenance of risk and financial data within broking systems
• Submission and management of documentation via Xchanging (IMR)
• Production of debt reports and escalation of overdue accounts where appropriate

The ideal candidate will have 5 years plus relevant experience, with good CASS 5/client money exposure.
