School Business Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced School Business Manager to join a welcoming primary school in Watford.
Working closely with the Headteacher, you’ll play a key role in the strategic and operational management of the school.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing school finances and budgets.
- Overseeing HR and recruitment processes.
- Leading procurement and contract management.
- Managing administrative and premises teams.
- Supporting compliance and statutory requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong financial and organisational skills.
- Leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Previous school business management experience is desirable but applications from experienced operations managers are welcome.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
