Lead Data Scientist – Proactive Appointments

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust predictive models for forecasting, risk assessment, and commercial data products.
• Transform large‑scale, regulated customer datasets into clean, auditable features suitable for machine‑learning pipelines.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering best practices in model governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate analytical insights into actionable strategies and product enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal audit standards throughout the model lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data science, with a strong focus on Python and machine‑learning libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Proven track record delivering production‑grade predictive models in a financial services or similarly regulated environment.
• Deep understanding of risk analytics, statistical modeling, and model validation techniques.
• Expertise in SQL and data manipulation, as well as data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib).
• Strong communication skills and experience leading technical teams in a hybrid work setting.
