HVAC Engineer

Senior HVAC Craftsperson

Location: British Steel, Scunthorpe (On-site)

Start Date: 1st June 2026

Responsibilities

• Carrying out HVAC maintenance and minor installation works across the site
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring systems run efficiently and safely
• Working independently once fully onboarded
• Using a company vehicle to travel across site and manage tasks
• Participating in an on‑call rota (approx. 1 in 3–4 weeks)
• Responding to out-of-hours call‑outs when required
• Adhering to site safety standards and working within a dirty industrial environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and installation
• Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workloadl
• Strong problem‑solving skills, proactive approach
• Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment
• Valid CCSNG Safety Passport (required prior to start)
• Reliability and flexibility to support the on‑call rota
