We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Textiles Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Trafford area from the start of the new academic year. This is a full‑time, long‑term position, teaching Textiles across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The Role
- Full‑time, long‑term position starting in September.
- Teach engaging and inspiring Textiles lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, deliver and assess high‑quality lessons that encourage creativity and practical skills.
- Support students to achieve their full potential in a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with a welcoming and experienced Design & Technology department.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Specialism in Textiles or Design & Technology with experience teaching Textiles.
- Has excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge.
- Is passionate about inspiring young people through creative learning.
- Committed to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
- Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
