Our client is looking for a Graduate/Junior Level Java Developer to join their team in Nottingham. You will work alongside a mix of senior and junior developers, contributing to new Java software and collaborating both independently and as part of a team. The role offers opportunities for internal progression and skill development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing Java applications using Java SE and J2EE.
- Working with WildFly 8 application server.
- Building RESTful web services using JAX‑RS.
- Utilizing CDI (Weld) and EJB 3 (Stateless Session Beans) with JPA.
- Writing unit tests with JUnit.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Java development experience.
- Familiarity with Java SE, JDK 7 and J2EE.
- Knowledge of JEE concepts is an advantage.
- Experience with XML, SOAP, Eclipse IDE, UNIX, and version control tools such as Redmine.
