Residential Services Role
Residential Services provides accommodation for around 8,500 University of Leeds students in self‑catered and catered sites, both on and off campus. We also provide facilities for meetings and conferences. We are an innovative service with a clear vision to provide some of the country’s best student accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality front line reception service to customers.
- Undertake minor repair and maintenance tasks and conduct site audits.
- Supervise the performance of external contractors in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Operate at any Residential Services site as required, primarily based at Devonshire Hall.
- Drive a Residential Services vehicle, holding a full current valid manual driving licence and recent driving experience.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Significant experience in a front‑line customer service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Flexible availability to meet business needs including a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern.
- Not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship (other visa options may be available).
