We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Business Studies to join our welcoming and supportive secondary school in Rugby. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of business principles and their real-world applications.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Create an inclusive, positive, and stimulating classroom environment where all students can succeed.
- Contribute to the continued development of the Business Studies curriculum and departmental initiatives.
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and school events.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve QTS by September 2026.
- A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Business Studies.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a positive approach to feedback.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
