We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team and uphold our standards of excellence.

The Role: As a Project Manager, you will be the on-site leader responsible for the successful and timely installation of our luxury marquees. With a critical focus on quality control and client satisfaction, you will manage a crew of four, ensuring every installation meets our exacting standards and exceeds client expectations.

This fixed-term role involves significant physical work and a commitment to early starts and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Transport:

    • Set off from Stratford-upon-Avon at 7:00 AM, Monday to Friday.
    • Drive a pickup truck, safely towing a trailer containing marquee components, to various client sites across the region.
    • Ensure the marquee and all necessary equipment are securely loaded and transported.
    • Complete vehicle checks and required documentation before departure.
  • On‑Site Project Management:

    • Lead and motivate a crew in the efficient and safe construction of luxury marquees, as well as the safe deconstruction post event.
    • Direct the installation of marquee structures, beginning with a ‘toolbox talk’ and ensuring each element of the process is completed within tight timeframes whilst maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
    • Oversee the laying of specialist event flooring and the installation of lighting systems.
    • Manage the construction of catering tents and connecting tunnels, ensuring seamless integration with the main marquee.
    • Coordinate the efficient unloading of furniture, bar components, and dancefloor elements from a separate delivery.
    • Supervise the professional installation and arrangement of all interior elements according to client specifications and design plans.
  • Quality Control & Safety:

    • Conduct rigorous quality inspections of all installed components, ensuring structural integrity, aesthetic perfection, and compliance with safety regulations.
    • Address any deficiencies promptly and effectively.
    • Ensure a safe working environment for the crew and adherence to all health and safety guidelines.
    • During de‑rig, inspect all items for damage, clean thoroughly, and load safely onto the vehicles.
    • Maintain strict adherence to project timelines.
  • Client Satisfaction & Handover:

    • Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for clients, maintaining a professional and accommodating demeanor.
    • Present the completed installation to the client for final inspection.
    • Obtain client sign‑off, ensuring their complete satisfaction with the setup.
  • Site Management & Equipment:

    • Ensure all tools and equipment used on‑site are accounted for, properly cleaned, and securely reloaded onto the trailer for the return journey to base.
    • Maintain a high level of tidiness and organisation throughout the installation process and during de‑rig.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally within events, construction, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a crew effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
  • Excellent client‑facing skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Practical hands‑on experience and comfort with physical work, including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Full UK driving licence with entitlement to tow a trailer (B+E).
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • A proactive problem‑solver with a strong safety‑first mindset.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, typically with early starts from 7:00 AM from Stratford‑upon‑Avon. On‑site hours will vary based on project demands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, detail‑orientated leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional luxury events.
