We’re looking for a Package Repair Coordinator to join a dynamic team responsible for delivering end-to-end overhaul of package equipment across a global supply network.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring critical equipment is restored, optimised, and ready to support ongoing service and maintenance operations.

The Role

As a Package Repair Coordinator, you will manage the full overhaul lifecycle of large capital equipment, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions.

You’ll also support ad‑hoc customer overhauls and contribute to breakdown support within the service business, while identifying new opportunities to expand overhaul utilisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end overhaul processes for package equipment within the supply network
  • Coordinate with Aftermarket Planning, Engineering, Finance, Warehousing, and Returns teams
  • Identify and select suitable external vendors to ensure best technical and commercial outcomes
  • Lead tendering activities, including supplier engagement and cost negotiations
  • Oversee vendor performance, maintaining regular progress tracking and touchpoints
  • Review inspection reports and revised quotations, driving cost optimisation where possible
  • Negotiate pricing and explore cost‑saving opportunities (e.g. free issue sub‑assemblies)
  • Attend witness testing when required (occasional travel may be needed)
  • Review and approve final documentation prior to equipment dispatch
  • Support customer‑owned equipment overhauls and service‑related breakdowns

About You

  • Strong engineering background – ideally with hands‑on or practical experience
  • A self‑starting, dynamic individual capable of working independently
  • Comfortable working cross‑functionally with multiple departments
  • Experience in vendor management, tendering, and commercial negotiation
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially aware with a focus on cost efficiency and value delivery

Why Join?

  • Key role within a critical repair and service function
  • Opportunity to work with large‑scale capital equipment
  • Exposure to a wide network of internal teams and external suppliers
  • Chance to influence cost savings and process improvements

If you’re an experienced, proactive coordinator with an engineering mindset and strong commercial awareness, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.
