Position Overview
The Social Worker – Level 2 – Children (G9) – Social Care Qualified will be responsible for providing child safeguarding support, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. This contract role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in social care and a commitment to safeguarding standards. The role involves working closely with families, schools, and external agencies to deliver comprehensive child protection services.
Responsibilities
- Undertake safeguarding assessments and develop support plans for vulnerable children
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to promote child safety
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legislation and policies
- Attend child protection meetings and contribute to safeguarding strategies
- Support children and families to achieve positive outcomes
