Role Overview

Manthorpe Building Products, part of the Genuit Group, is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of plastic injection moulded, vacuum formed and extruded products for the building industry. We combine long‑term stability with a culture built on teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement. The purpose of the role is to help maintain production output through the safe movement of stock using forklift trucks while learning associated skills to meet targets and comply with all corporate and legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and facilitate the movement of completed consignments to the correct area within the business.
• Carry out picking orders as instructed, taking product from varying locations in a timely manner.
• Ensure all products are correctly identified, palletised safely as required.
• Provide a safe and timely service for the off‑loading and loading of a variety of vehicles.
• Perform manual handling tasks competently within the workplace.
• Achieve production outputs on time and in full.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Separate waste products into designated containers for safe disposal.
• Use excellent time‑keeping skills to meet production requirements.
• Comply with company and statutory Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental and other policies and procedures.
• Assist in identifying areas of improvement within your area, promoting continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste, improve safety, engagement and efficiency.

Skills & Requirements

• Valid forklift truck licenses on reach (D1 and D2), counterbalance, and pedestrian‑operated vehicles.
• A positive work ethic and enthusiastic approach to activities undertaken.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Works well as part of a team and has initiative to achieve company goals.
• Good communication skills.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
