Role: Tesco Shift Leader (Days). Location: London St Nwich. Employment type: Full time. Salary: £26,742 per year (estimated).

Availability and schedule

Availability windows are typically within the following days and times: Mon 05:30–14:30, Thu 05:30–14:30, Fri 13:15–22:15, Sat 13:15–22:15. The contracted hours are scheduled with advance notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver a great in-store experience for customers, across all areas of the store.
• Be the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries and ensure smooth store operations in the Manager’s absence.
• Build positive, inclusive relationships and coach colleagues, providing feedback and modelling excellent service.
• Make balanced, flexible decisions and adapt to changes as needed.
• Communicate clearly using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• Stay curious and seek opportunities to better serve customers, communities and the planet.

Qualifications and expectations

• Experience in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver great service and meet customers’ needs.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive, lasting relationships in an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
