Job responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will provide personal care and support to female clients in their homes, ensuring their dignity, privacy, and well‑being. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Supporting clients with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Providing companionship, emotional support and encouraging independence.
- Recording care plans, observations and incidents accurately.
- Working on alternating weekends.
Qualifications and requirements
- No prior care experience required.
- Compassionate, empathetic and caring nature.
- Good people skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- At least 12 months of right to work in the UK.
- No sponsorship available for overseas applicants.
Salary and benefits
- Up to £14.00 per hour.
- Mileage paid – 32p per mile.
- Flexible contracts.
- Full, professionally funded training up to QCF level 5.
