About the Role: Curriculum Manager SEND
As a CM, you play a pivotal role in driving forward our strategic objectives and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and learner experience across our Supported Learning curriculum and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of outstanding educational SEND provision.
- Work collaboratively with staff across departments to implement innovative and inclusive practices that support learners and colleagues to thrive.
- Line manage teaching and support staff, driving performance and accountability.
- Design, plan, and deliver high-quality, learner-focused curriculum programmes (from pre-entry to Level 1).
- Maintain a solid understanding of compliance, funding regulations, and quality assurance processes.
- Use data effectively to improve learner attendance, retention, and progression.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective and high-impact delivery.
- Prepare for and contribute to internal and external audits, inspections (e.g. Ofsted), and quality reviews.

This role involves line management of teaching and support staff, supporting their development and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the college and ensuring its delivery through effective leadership, innovation, and operational oversight.

- Relevant teaching qualification and leadership training (or willingness to obtain these) with experience in SEND.
