Maintenance Gas Engineer – Leeds & Yorkshire

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Gas Engineer to carry out planned and reactive gas maintenance across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region, covering both commercial and domestic sites. The role involves servicing, fault finding, repairs, installation, and compliance testing across a wide range of gas systems.

This is a varied field-based role with travel across multiple sites and participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance on commercial & domestic gas systems
• Fault finding, repairs, servicing, and installation works
• Gas safety checks, testing, and certification in line with Gas Safe regulations
• Work on boilers, heating systems, pipework, water heaters, AHUs, and radiant heaters
• Respond to emergency call-outs and helpdesk requests
• Produce quotations for repair and installation works
• Update CAFM systems with job progress and completion details
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and gas regulations
• Travel across Leeds, Yorkshire, and surrounding areas as required

Qualifications (Essential)

• CCN1 (Core Gas Safety)
• CENWAT1 (Boilers)
• HTR1 (Gas Fires)
• COCN1 (Commercial Core Gas)
• Relevant ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (or equivalent)

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota
• Flexible and self-motivated approach to work
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
