Mon, Tues & Wed or Thurs: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am – 12:00pm

Plus occasional babysitting and optional family holidays (1–2 per year)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of SEN childcare experience
• Caring, patient and calm — comfortable with a low demand, home-based approach
• Understanding of non‑verbal communication, gesture and basic signing
• Confident supporting transitions and de‑escalating frustration in a gentle, reassuring way
• Strong activity planning skills — able to keep a child engaged and avoid boredom during downtime
• Experience implementing strategies from OT, speech therapy, physiotherapy and psychology
• Energetic but mindful of pacing — understanding that G5 tires easily and needs rest
• Confident walking with a buddy system to and from nursery/school (15‑minute walk)
• Looking for a long‑term, ongoing role
• Open to occasional babysitting and the possibility of joining the family on holiday once or twice a year
