My client is a reputableCivil and Structural Engineering Consultancy working from an impressive office in the heart of Birmingham.

They requirean intermediateStructural Engineer who willhave the opportunity to design andanalyse a wide range of building structures.

All within an experienced C&S Engineering team that is both collaborative and supportive.

• Prepare outline designs for structural schemes based on the clients brief
• Carry out detailed design calculations to Eurocodes using the latest 3D design software
• Co-ordinate your designs with other design disciplines and specialists with BIM
• Assist with the production of detailed design drawings and specifications for tender purposes
• Visit sites during the construction phase to monitor on-site progress
• Check outgoing and incoming documents, including contractors proposal documentation
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Near chartered or working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE
• Proven experience of structural design within a UK consultancy
• A good understanding of basic structural behaviour
• Proficiency in structural design andanalysis software like Tekla Structural Designer
• A proactive approach with a can-do attitude
