The Assessment and Curriculum Office is responsible for the management of assessment and student progression, as well as ensuring processes are accurate and efficient. We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dynamic individual to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing vital operational support to ensure smooth assessment and examination operations, research degree assessments, and governance functions.
Job Details
- Location: Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus
- Salary: Grade 6 from £34,588 to £39,144 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £41,292 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution (pro‑rata if part‑time).
- Hours: Full-time
- Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover (12 months)
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting all assessment and examination operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining and updating student records related to assessment, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinating with staff, students and external bodies to ensure timely delivery of assessment outcomes.
- Contributing to governance functions, including policy interpretation and application.

Qualifications
The applicant must have a University undergraduate degree or equivalent, or an ability to demonstrate transferable skills (e.g., analytical, interpersonal, problem‑solving and self‑management skills) at an appropriate level.
