To be considered for this role you must live in South London and be comfortable traveling across the South West.

What will you be doing?

As a Electrical Remedial Engineer for BES Electrical you will conduct electrical testing within the social housing industry in the North West and Yorkshire, including domestic and communal areas. You will carry out any remedial works identified during inspections.

You Will

  • Undertake high‑quality electrical repairs and remedial work such as distribution board changes, RCD installation and socket replacement.
  • Participate in small projects, including EV installations.
  • Comply with company standards for work performance and electrical policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Use our CRM system and reporting software to document electrical work accurately.
  • Liaise with customers and supply chain partners to provide excellent service.
  • Maintain van stocks and provide information for improving first‑time fix rates in your area.

As a Remedial Engineer, You Will Get

To Join Our Team, You Will Need

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical installation work (e.g., C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365).
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (e.g., 2394 / 2395).
  • A positive, diverse and inclusive attitude toward customers and colleagues.
  • Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work overtime during busy periods.
  • Availability to work nights one week out of every month.
  • Hard‑working, conscientious electrician who values delivering great service to a prestigious client base.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Full driving licence.
