Job Description:

Equans is looking for a Compliance and Lifecycle Manager to join the team at Barnet General Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. The post holder will ensure a standardised approach to the provision and recording of FM operational services and be responsible for the effective management and governance of Hard FM Services compliance within a Healthcare environment inclusive of statutory engineering, SLA performance, and Business accreditations. We are looking for a data driven individual who has worked in a similar role. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the site is compliant, overseeing administrative tasks, liaising with the operational teams to ensure tasks are completed, such as PPMs and reactive works, and managing internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, manage & maintain the necessary compliance system(s) to ensure adherence to statutory engineering, SLA performance, and Business accreditations and continuity plans in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Ensure that the appropriate record keeping processes are maintained to demonstrate compliance with contract deliverables and company procedures
  • Promote, establish, monitor & maintain efficient compliance processes for the business providing practical support and guidance particularly within Hard FM services to secure compliance within legislative, regulatory, contractual and business requirements
  • Measure and identify non‑compliance of the contract (contractors & internal teams) and develop, maintain and implement recovery programmes with the Contract’s Management Teams to ensure compliance is restored
  • Support management / staff in the implementation and adherence of compliance related business processes
  • Assist in the management of the Business compliance system and service provider relationship with support from company QSE dept
  • Upkeep accurate recording of information on Intranet based and other Business systems
  • Provide accurate and regular updates/reports on compliance status to the portfolios senior management team. Ensure the accuracy of all Compliance Trackers and provide regular status updates on non‑compliant issues. Where necessary deliver compliance training modules and briefing material to internal and external resources whilst ensuring suitable feedback and dialogue with QSE, HR and/or finance teams as appropriate
  • Carry out and assist in the completion of periodic audits of asset registers and PPM schedules in liaison with site operational managers to ensure compliance with statutory, mandatory and H&S requirements and the improvement of site wide operating procedures
  • Ensure the contract complies to all necessary statutory, mandatory and H&S requirements as directed by the business
  • Host, as required, third‑party and internal Compliance audits

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience within the FM industry
  • Experience with PFI would be desirable
  • Experience with data and reporting
  • Competent with Excel
  • Previous experience with compliance audits

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
