Senior Sales Administrator
£30,000-£35,000 plus bonuses.
Full‑time, office‑based. Wellington.
Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
A friendly, family run and highly successful business is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to process orders from start to finish. This is a busy, complex and in‑depth role. If you enjoy keeping things organised, speaking with customers, and taking ownership of a busy workload, this is a great opportunity.
What the Senior Sales Administrator will be doing:
- Taking customer orders over the phone and by email with accuracy and warmth.
- Processing orders end‑to‑end and making sure every detail is correct.
- Keeping customers updated and ensuring they receive a smooth, reliable service.
- Handling day‑to‑day admin tasks to keep the office running smoothly.
- Working closely with a small, supportive team who value honesty, humour, and getting the job done well.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in an office environment, in order processing, sales administration or purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in an office management role that demonstrates owning and managing processes and problem solving.
- Confident speaking with customers and building positive relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes accurately.
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and keeping on top of deadlines.
- Someone down‑to‑earth, reliable, and happy working in the office every day.
