Newcastle Skoda Seat & Cupra

Contract Type: Permanent Full Time

Hours: 42 hours weekly (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, with one early finish per week and Saturdays 8am to 2pm on a rota basis)

Salary: OTE up to £35,000 (uncapped) with a basic of £29,000 per annum

Newcastle Skoda Seat & Cupra are recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team on site. Joining our friendly aftersales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will report to our aftersales manager who will help develop your knowledge and experience with the team, enabling you to progress within the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for customers
  • Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories that will benefit the customer
  • Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments based on workload and call volumes
  • Managing a high-volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
  • Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication while a vehicle is in the workshop
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems when bookings are made

As a Service Advisor you should have energy, a warm personality and a passion for delivering a first-class customer experience. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly. Prior experience with Kerridge / ADP or knowledge of other dealer systems is advantageous. You should be able to work well in a team and independently.
