Introduction

An exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprentice Level 2 candidate who has a positive attitude, is hardworking, well presented and has good communication skills. All training will be provided on the job. You will provide a variety of pharmacy and medicines services to patients, the public and other healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of pharmacy services in a variety of environments.
• Supply, prepare and assemble medicines.
• Order and receive medicines, and manage their storage, disposal and return.
• Understand healthy lifestyle choices and relevant screening services.
• Apply and follow standard operating procedures.

Training Outcome

Potential to lead to full‑time employment or progression onto a Level 3 qualification.

Course Information

Course: Pharmacy services assistant (Level 2) – Intermediate apprenticeship level, Health and science route.

Working Arrangements
