Freedom Leisure, a leading charitable leisure trust, invites you to join our team as a Lifeguard.
Our mission is to improve lives through leisure, providing welcoming, inclusive and accessible facilities across 130+ centres in England and Wales.
As a Lifeguard you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors by providing excellent customer service, maintaining clean facilities and preserving safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to all visitors.
- Maintain clean and safe facilities, including regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment.
- Monitor swimming area, enforce safety rules and respond to incidents.
- Support visitors of all ages and abilities, ensuring inclusivity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be able to swim competently.
- Self‑confident communication with customers and staff.
- Interested in the leisure industry with passion and energy.
- Ability to work flexibly, including on weekends.
- Qualifications: NPLQ or equivalent, First Aid at Work Enhanced, and a DBS check.
Hours & Schedule
8 hours per week, Saturday – Sunday on a rota basis.
