Our client, a rapidly growing AI company with its European headquarters based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Statutory Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced technology environment, supporting statutory reporting across multiple European entities.
This is a fully remote role, with occasional travel to the Dublin office as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate statutory accounts for multiple legal entities across Europe.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and audit deadlines.
- Liaise with external auditors and advisors across various jurisdictions.
- Support financial reporting and regulatory compliance activities.
- Drive finance process improvements and standardisation across the statutory reporting function.
- Work closely with cross-functional finance teams to enhance reporting efficiency and controls.
- Utilise ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle to support statutory reporting processes.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience (PQE).
- Current experience in a statutory accounting role within the technology sector is essential.
- Proven experience managing statutory accounts for multiple European entities.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP or Oracle.
- Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to finance process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
