About the Role
We’re after a trend‑savvy Junior Social Creative who can dream up scroll‑stopping ideas and keep communities buzzing across TikTok, Reels, memes, and more. This is a hands‑on, fast‑moving role in our always‑on content team. You’ll help spot cultural moments, spark quick‑fire ideas, and create content that feels genuinely social‑first — not just brand‑first. You’ll also play a key role in community engagement, helping turn conversations into content ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept and create lo‑fi, reactive content across TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Keep tabs on trending moments, formats and conversations — and suggest smart ways for our brands to show up.
- Support planned content creation for campaigns, launches, cultural moments, and brand activations.
- Write short, punchy copy that fits the format — from TikTok captions to meme text and script‑style content.
- Jump into the comments — respond to tags, mentions and DMs with speed, wit and brand voice.
- Use social listening tools and good old‑fashioned scrolling to spot audience insights and trend signals.
- Collaborate with designers, editors and other creatives to bring ideas to life at pace.
- Share creative ideas based on real‑time engagement and community behaviour.
- Schedule and post content with care, ensuring every post is timely and optimised.
- Pitch in across the team wherever needed — keeping energy high and ideas flowing.
Qualifications
- Culturally switched‑on creative who lives and breathes social.
- Someone who doesn’t just scroll — you notice, save, question and imagine.
- Strong instincts for what performs on each platform (and what doesn’t).
- Confident writing style with a feel for different tones and formats.
- Comfortable behind the scenes — filming, editing or collaborating to get content made.
- Proactive and positive — ideas, not afraid to speak up.
- Comfortable engaging with audiences and building a brand’s personality through community interaction.
- Bonus: experience running a social account (personal, side hustle, uni project or professional).
