We are recruiting for a Customer Service Executive to join our IRE WW Customer Serviceteam in Newry reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader. This is a customer-focused role responsible for managing the complete customer order journey, from order processing through to delivery, while providing an excellent level of service at all times.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and complaints, processing sales orders and credits, and liaising with internal departments including Sales, After Sales, Production, Transport and Scheduling to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming customer calls and enquiries.
- Process sales orders, credits and related administration.
- Manage customer information using internal systems.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely manner.
- Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the order process.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time order fulfilment and delivery.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives and KPI achievement.
- Assist with outbound customer contact and delivery notifications.
- Communication with merchants
- Logging and maintaining live quotations
- Assisting the external sales team
- Maintaining the sales inbox
Essential Criteria:
- Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of sales order processing.
- Previous sales experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sage.
- Five GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
