Role Purpose
Key duties & responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks
- General administrative support to the HR Consultancy team to support client needs
- Monitor client HR inboxes and respond to or elevate support queries as required
- Diary coordination and support for HR consultants
- HR record keeping and systems administration (including reporting as appropriate)
- Provide HR administration support to clients relating to each stage of the employment lifecycle
- Collate and prepare market and benchmarking data and reports
- Prepare, review and refresh template client toolkits and documentation including policy reviews in line with legislative updates
HR Consultancy Tasks
- Assist consultants with delivering best practice and commercially aware HR advice to clients
- Support with preparing documents such as letters, guidance notes and reports as necessary
- Research HR best practice and key trends to ensure consultants remain commercially aware of the industries they support with
- Support with casework and employee relations preparations such as note taking, document collation etc
- Attend client meetings to support learning and development
- Represent AAB People externally at events and on social media, and act as ambassador to support marketing and sales activities and business growth.

- Discretion and an awareness and understanding of strict confidentiality requirements.

- Responsive and client-focused – recognises the importance of facilitating an excellent client experience and representing the AAB brand externally.
- Remains calm and clear-headed under pressure, capable of balancing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively.
- Solution-focused and flags potential problems or concerns promptly with proposals for resolution.
- Committed to continuous improvement and ongoing learning and personal development.
- Have extensive knowledge on Microsoft Office, particularly word, outlook, excel and PowerPoint.
- Possess an interest in HR and Employment Law (prior experience is desirable, but not essential).
