Prospero Teaching is currently looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Leeds to start ASAP. This is a specialist school that covers a range of special needs and age groups. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Autism and SEMH.
n nDetails: n* Location – Leeds n* Position – SEN Teaching Assistant n* Start Date – 19/01/2026 n* Duration – Ongoing n* Contract type – Full Time (Long-Term) n* Daily Rate – GBP95 – GBP115 per day n* Hours 8:30 am 3:30pm : Mon Fri (term time only) n nResponsibilities: nSupport and scaffold children in the classroom. nPrepare resources with the teacher. nWork effectively in Partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
nAble to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children. n nEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS n* At least Level 2 trained n* GCSE English and Maths grade C n nTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: n* Hold Right to Work in the UK n* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application n* Provide two professional child related references
