Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: £13.20 per hour

Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and decorating throughout the home
- Complete regular checks in line with Oakland Care’s Health and Safety, Emergency and Fire policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain equipment, fixtures and fittings
- Make sure gardens, grounds and outdoor areas are safe and well-preserved
- Assist with planned maintenance programmes and contractor visits
- Perform basic plumbing, painting, carpentry and general maintenance tasks
- Support with keeping accurate maintenance and safety records
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance, caretaking or facilities role
- Possess good practical skills across a range of maintenance duties
- Understand Health and Safety requirements within a workplace setting
- Proactive, organised and able to work independently as well as being a team player
- Excellent communication skills and enjoys working with older people
- Takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
