Overview

An established client with a 100+ strong development team is seeking an experienced Lead Web Developer to head web projects in the East Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a web development team
• Bridge the gap between UX and UI teams to deliver cohesive user experiences
• Design, develop and maintain web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and AngularJS
• Implement responsive and adaptive designs and integrate RESTful web services
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders on project delivery

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional web development experience
• Deep expertise in HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, CSS/CSS3, AngularJS, and jQuery
• Experience with React or Node.js is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and responsive/adaptive design principles
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills
