As an Enterprise Security Architect, you will be in a leadership position, responsible for defining and maintaining aspects of the enterprise security architecture, including a domain and collections of capabilities.

You will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the Cyber Security teams and the Business to ensure security is embedded in our operations, solutions, and services.

Your role will involve setting architectural standards, collaborating, and guiding SMEs and Solution Architects, and ensuring we have the solutions in our kit bag to deliver compliance with our security controls, policies, and Aviva’s desired posture.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strategic Vision & Architectural Leadership: Ability to align cyber security requirements, solutions, processes, and services with Aviva’s strategic goals. As well as creating high level architectures using frameworks, principles, standards, controls, threats and risks. Experience in building roadmaps and modelling future-state architectures including the articulation of the steps and transition states to get there.
  • Portfolio Influence / Delivery Enablement: Comfortable navigating complex interdependencies across projects and domains. Strong technical domain knowledge and experience to shape and support agile and iterative delivery. Able to develop and present governance papers for strategic security change activity, driven and sponsored by a Cyber Security Leadership Team member.
  • Critical Thinking: Adept at solving problems in ambiguous environments and challenging conventional thinking. External perspective of threats, security trends and insights to inform strategic planning.
  • Influence and Communication: Skilled communicator and storyteller, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally. Active in engaging with vendors and partners to get the most value out of them. Politically savvy and confident in facilitating discussions and managing communications.
